Bringing history to life
Lucilinburhuc is a Luxembourg-based association dedicated to living history and historical martial arts. Through carefully researched reconstructions, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive displays, we make history tangible and accessible to a wide and diverse audience.
Our work spans historical periods from 800 B.C. to 1600 A.D. and is rooted in a combination of source-based research, experimental archaeology, traditional craftsmanship, and active knowledge sharing. We regularly collaborate with museums, schools, and cultural institutions, and take part in cultural events across Europe, where we offer engaging programmes for families, children, and the general public.
At the heart of Lucilinburhuc lies a strong sense of community. We value the exchange of knowledge between our members and believe in learning together through practice, discussion, and experimentation. Our aim is to preserve, explore, and communicate historical knowledge and cultural heritage in a lively, meaningful, and approachable way.
